The Building and Construction RPL program is tailored to builders and managers overseeing small to medium-sized building businesses. Here's a breakdown of what it entails:
Overall, the Building and Construction RPL program equips builders and managers with the knowledge, skills, and credentials needed to lead construction projects and businesses effectively while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices.
To meet the criteria for the Building and Construction RPL program, candidates should have a minimum of 3 years of relevant industry experience in building construction work. This experience should encompass a diverse range of tasks and responsibilities relevant to the building and construction industry. Additionally, the majority of this experience should have been obtained within the 10 years preceding the application date.
The required experience can be a blend of both local and overseas work, but there is a specific requirement of having worked for 12 to 24 months within Australia. This requirement ensures that candidates have hands-on experience and familiarity with local building codes, regulations, and industry practices specific to the Australian construction environment.
Overall, the aim is to demonstrate a solid foundation of practical experience and knowledge in building construction that aligns with the standards and requirements expected in the Building and Construction RPL program.
