    NSW

    Office of Fair Trading is the regulator and issuing body for solid plastering licenses in NSW. You must have a licence before you do any residential building work in NSW, including solid plastering, valued at more than $5000 (incl GST) in labour and materials.

    Before you are able to apply for your solid plastering licence, you must complete a solid plastering qualification such as:

    • CPC31020 Certificate III in Solid Plastering or
    • CPC31011/ CPC31008/ BCG31003 Certificate III in Solid Plastering

    This is a licenced occupation. Licensing, legislative, regulatory and certification requirements may vary between states and territories. Relevant state and territory regulatory authorities should be consulted to confirm those requirements.

    QLD

    Queensland Building and Construction Commission is the regulator and issuing body for solid plastering licenses in QLD. You must have a licence before you do any residential building work in QLD, including solid plastering, valued at more than $3300 (incl GST) in labour and materials.

    Before you are able to apply for your solid plastering licence, you must complete a solid plastering qualification such as:

    • CPC31020 Certificate III in Solid Plastering or
    • CPC31011/ CPC31008/ BCG31003 Certificate III in Solid Plastering
