Training and Assessment RPL COURSE OVERVIEW

    About The Certificate

The Training and Assessment RPL (Recognition of Prior Learning) program is designed to evaluate and recognize the skills, knowledge, and experience individuals have acquired through their work and life experiences, without requiring them to complete a full training course. This program is particularly valuable for professionals in the training and education sector, such as trainers, assessors, and educators, who seek formal recognition of their competencies.

Key Components of a Training and Assessment RPL Program

    1. Eligibility Assessment: Initial evaluation to determine if the candidate qualifies for the RPL process based on their prior learning and experience.
    2. Evidence Collection: Candidates compile and submit evidence of their competencies, which may include work samples, resumes, job descriptions, references, and performance appraisals.
    3. Competency Mapping: The submitted evidence is mapped against the relevant competencies or units of competency to identify gaps and strengths.
    4. Assessment: A qualified assessor reviews the evidence and may conduct interviews or practical assessments to validate the candidate's skills and knowledge.
    5. Gap Training: If there are gaps identified in the candidate's skills, additional training or professional development may be recommended to meet the required standards.
    6. Recognition and Certification: Successful candidates receive formal recognition and certification for the units of competency or qualifications they have met.

By recognizing and validating your existing competencies, a Training and Assessment RPL program can significantly enhance your career trajectory and professional development.
